UNION (NJ) – Delaware Valley University traveled to Kean University for a non-conference matchup and dropped a 5-0 decision as Krista Lamina tallied three goals and one assist to lead the Cougars.
Kean remained perfect on the season as it improved its record to 5-0 while the Aggies fell to 1-3.
The Cougars took an early lead with two goals in the first 8:41 including Teresa Carr's third of the season off a corner play and an assist from Lamina.
Lamina then scored the next three goals of the game, two in the first half and one in the second half to seal the 5-0 victory.
Kean scored three goals off of corner opportunities and held an 8-3 advantage in that department. Bailee Mullen made two saves in the win.
Rosie Bishop went the distance and made three saves for DelVal. The Aggies will return to action on Saturday, September 16 when they head to Drew University. Faceoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
