CLARKS SUMMIT (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's soccer team had a late rally fall short as it dropped a 2-1 decision at Clarks Summit University on Thursday.
The Aggies suffered their first loss of the year and are now 2-1. The Defenders evened their record at 2-2.

Andre Permyashkin continued his torrid start to the season, tallying his fifth goal with 13:53 to play off an assist from fellow rookie
Evan Augsburger. DelVal got three shots off in the final minutes, including sophomore
Nick Miller's shot in the final seconds that was saved by the goalkeeper Tyler Austin, but could not secure the equalizer.
Trevor Hubbard put Clarks Summit in the lead just over eight minutes into the contest. The Defenders extended their lead just under 20 minutes into the second half as Wesley Pincince converted a penalty kick.
Starting goalkeeper Ben Campbell earned the win for the Defenders, making four saves in 69 minutes of action. Austin played the final 21 minutes and stopped one shot. Sophomore

Sean Conroy each played a half for the Aggies and made three and two saves respectively.
