DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's soccer team began the 2016 campaign with a 4-2 victory over visiting Penn State York on Thursday.
Freshmen shined throughout the night for the Aggies.
Andre Permyashkin tallied three goals, tying the school mark,
Justin Scarano potted a goal and goalkeeper
Sean Conroy picked up his first collegiate win.
However, it was the Lions that struck first just over 10 minutes into the contest. Jack Jaramillo sent a pass ahead to Adrian Odira, putting him one on one with Conroy and Odira finished the play for the lead. It was short lived though as Permyashkin recorded his first marker just over a minute later. Senior

Permyashkin hit the back of the net again in the 16
th minute with a helper from freshman
Evan Augsburger. Casey Tober brought Penn State York back even as he beat the DelVal defense for a loose ball and chipped it over Conroy into the goal with 27:27 to go in the opening half.
In the second half, the Aggies went ahead for good at the 26:04 mark. Senior
Max Drummond rang a shot off the left post but Scarano was there to deposit the rebound for a 3-2 lead. Permyashkin finished off the hat trick with 12:11 to play. Senior

Nick Miller at the top of the box, who quickly turned and sent the ball ahead to Permyashkin.
Conroy ended the match with two saves while Lions' keeper Paul Ambrose stopped five shots.
