Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's soccer team concluded its 2016 season with a 6-0 home setback to regionally-ranked Misericordia University in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom contest.
The Cougars sealed the top seed and home field advantage throughout the upcoming conference tournament with the win as the number nine team in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region improved to 11-5-2 overall and 6-1 in the league. The Aggies ended with a 7-11-1 overall record and 0-7 in the MAC Freedom.

Misericordia got its first tally in the 26
th minute as Anthony Ippolito converted off assists from Dante Ippolito and Chris Edkins. The rest of the goals came in the second half, beginning with Niko Amity's tally less than four minutes into the stanza. David Malaquias and Russell Hines had two goals in a nine-minute span midway through while Nick Szczerba and Mac Livermore each scored in the final 15 minutes of the game.
The Cougars had a 23-1 advantage in shots and took all seven of the game's corners.

Sean Conroy combined for eight saves for the Aggies.
