Box Score WILKES-BARRE (PA) -- King's College notched two goals in each half as the Monarchs registered a 4-0, Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom victory over visiting Delaware Valley University on Wednesday evening.
King's raised its record to 8-7 overall and 3-2 in conference action while the Aggies fell to 5-9-1 and 0-5,
Chris Galeano opened the scoring 6:31 in as he stole a pass, went in on a breakaway and found the back of the net. Brendan Raab followed 17 minutes later as a shot deflected off a DelVal defender and went in. Kevin Mazol connected on a free kick eight minutes into the second half and Raab got his second tally of the night with 12:28 remaining.
The Monarchs outshot the Aggies, 27-4, and had all 15 of the game's corner kicks.
Connor Hedgepeth (70 minutes) and
Sean Conroy (20 minutes) combined to stop eight shots for DelVal.
The Aggies will travel to Manhattanville College for a MAC Freedom match-up on Saturday, October 22 (12 p.m.).
