Box Score 2 BRYN MAWR (PA) – The Delaware Valley College volleyball team dropped a pair of contests at a tri-match hosted by Bryn Mawr College on Saturday. The Aggies fell 3-0 to the host school and 3-2 to Bryn Athyn College.
Against Bryn Mawr, Delaware Valley lost in straight sets by scores of 25-8, 25-13 and 25-20. Freshman
Taylor Klecan led all Aggie attackers with seven kills on 18 total attempts. She also added seven digs and one block.
Gina Page had a match-high 33 attempts with five resulting in kills. Page and
Amy Bodine led all Aggies with 12 digs.
Crystal Ronan recorded 14 assists and six digs in the effort.
Rachel Ofili led the attack for Bryn Mawr with 11 kills on 25 attempts. Danielle Preziuso had a match-high 26 assists while Allie Nagelski also recorded a match-high with 14 digs.
Delaware Valley lost the first set of the Bryn Athyn Match, 25-16, but posted 25-20 and 28-26 scores in the next two to take the lead. However, Bryn Athyn forced a fifth set with a 25-19 score and then won the match with a 15-13 outcome in the fifth.
Klecan paced the team with 11 kills while Page added nine kills and 13 digs.
Nicole Daigneault had six kills and nine digs while
Crystal Ronan notched 23 assists, 13 digs and four aces. Kaitlyn Brock paced Bryn Athyn with 18 kills.
