Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley College volleyball team won its second match in a row as it swept visiting Centenary College in a non-conference matchup. Set scores were 21-11, 21-15 and 21-15.
The victory improveD the Aggies to 3-11 on the season while the Cyclones remained winless at 0-19.
Delaware Valley got out to a 5-1 lead in the first set and never relinquished the lead. Senior
Crystal Ronan highlighted the set as she served for seven straight points toward the end of the set to extend the lead to 24-8 at the time.
Maria Cameron followed in the second set with nine straight points as she served to bring the Aggies from a 3-1 deficit to a 10-3 lead that they would hold onto.
In the third set, Centenary came out strong and held leads of 6-1, 7-2 and 10-8. However, Delaware Valley fought back and scored 17 of the final 22 points in the set to run away with the three-game sweep of the Cyclones.
Delaware Valley had three hitters with double-digit in kills including Cameron with a match-high of 12. Page and Klecan had 11 kills apiece.
Crystal Ronan led all players with 34 assists and 13 digs. She is now just eight assists shy of 3,000 for her standout career.
Myriah Cockburn had a match high six service aces to go with 10 digs and four kills for the Cyclones.
