Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley College men's soccer team fell to visiting Cabrini College, 1-0, in a non-conference bout on Saturday.
The loss dropped the Aggies to 2-4-1 on the season while the Cavaliers improved their record to an even 4-4.
The Aggies had the first opportunity of the game when Steve Manatto weaved his way through the defense and let a shot go from 10 yards out. Cabrini keeper RJ Pino made a nice kick save to keep the game scoreless.
The Cavaliers responded with just under five minutes left in the first half as they earned a corner kick and Kyle Chevalier capitalized with a volley from seven yards out for what proved to be the game winner. It was Christian Martin's corner that Chevalier converted into a goal/
In the second half, Cabrini threatened again when Bobby Kane beat the keeper twice in a two- minute span, but both attempts caught the left post and stayed out of the net. Shortly after, the Aggies made one last push to tie the game as they attacked the offensive zone, but came up just short.

Austin Brotman made seven saves on the afternoon, all coming in the first half, including a pair of diving stops. Pino stopped four shots in goal for Cabrini, which outshot the Aggies, 18-4, in the contest.
