TOWSON (MD) – Gina Page and Alyssa Riggins combined for 28 kills and 33 digs as Delaware Valley College came from behind to post a 3-1 victory over host Goucher College. Set scores were 23-25, 25-18, 25-20 and 23-25.

Delaware Valley won for the third time in its last four matches to improve to 5-4 on the season. The Gophers fell to 6-6.

The Aggies managed just eight kills in the opening set, but reach double digits in the final three. The second and fourth sets also saw them hit over .300 with a .348 mark in the second and a .325 mark in the fourth.

Delaware Valley trailed 23-22 late in the fourth set and the match appeared headed to a fifth and final set. However, Destinee Horning recorded a kill to tie it up and then teamed with Page for a block and a 24-23 advantage. Page then clinched the match with a kill off a Crystal Ronan assist.

Page finished the evening with 15 kills and 15 digs while Riggins had 13 kills, 18 digs and five service aces. Janel Gluch had 10 kills with Horning adding eight kills and 10 digs. Ronan contributed two kills, three service aces, 22 digs and 40 assists in the win.

Goucher was paced by Meghan Chalk who had 19 kills and 10 digs. Sarah Johnson distributed 33 assists.
