Box Score DALLAS (PA) – Defending Freedom Conference champion Misericordia University scored three goals in the second half to pull away to a 4-0 triumph over visiting Delaware Valley College in the league opener for both teams.

Nick vonEgypt opened the scoring for Misericordia (8-3, 1-0) six minutes into the first half off a feed from T.J. Schaefer.

Colin Snyder, Rob Wiacek, and Kevin Matlon pick up the tallies in the final 22 minutes of the game for the Cougars.

The Aggies (5-5-1, 0-1) offense came from Steve Mannato who had three shots on the day while Jordan Robinson and Justin Mannato each had one. Chase Clement made 10 saves in goal for Delaware Valley while Barry Fitzgerald picked up the shutout at the other end.
