DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College improved to 13-9 on the season as the Aggies posted victories over Rutgers University-Camden and Albright College at a home tri-match.
Delaware Valley opened with a 3-0 victory over Rutgers-Camden (19-6) by set scores of 25-13, 25-20 and 25-16.
Janel Gluch had 14 kills while
Gina Page added 13 kills.
Crystal Ronan dished out 36 assists and served up five aces. Morgan Halbruner led the Scarlet Raptors with six kills.
In the match with Albright (6-14), Delaware Valley dropped the opening set, 27-25, but came back with scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-18. Page notched 17 kills and 15 digs while Gluch had 15 kills.
Destinee Horning and
Alyssa Riggins had 13 and 10 kills respectively while they added 13 digs apiece. Ronan had five more aces and added 52 assists and 12 digs. Brandy Blimline led Albright with 12 kills.
In the middle contest of the day, Rutgers-Camden posted a 3-1 victory over Albright.
