DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Emin Matezic scored one goal and assisted on another to lead visiting FDU-Florham to a 3-1 victory over Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference match-up.

Matezic set up the first goal of the game with 26:33 remaining in the opening half as he sent a corner kick into the box and Tommy Asselta put it in the net. The Devils (7-10, 2-3 Freedom) made it 2-0 less than four minutes later as Josh Corpuz scored his seventh goal of the year off an assist from Jonathan Trujillo.

The Aggies (7-6-1, 0-5 Freedom) cut FDU-Florham's lead in half with 19:07 left in the first half as the brother tandem of Justin and Steve Mannato broke in on a 2-on-0 breakaway. Steve Mannato slid a pass to Justin Mannato for his first goal of the season.

It remained a 2-1 contest for the next 62 minutes until Matezic took advantage of Delaware Valley trying to press forward as he booted one home into an empty net for his eighth goal of the season.

FDU-Florham had a 16-10 advantage in shot while the Aggies had eight corners compared to three by the Devils. Chase Clements stopped six shots in net in the loss while Andrew D;Angelo had four saves for FDU-Florham.
