DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College improved to 3-0 on the season as it swept a home tri-match on Saturday. The Aggies opener with a 3-1 triumph over Bryn Mawr College and followed with a 3-0 blanking of Lancaster Bible College.
Set scores for the Bryn Mawr match were 25-11, 24-26, 25-16 and 27-25.
Janel Gluch and
Destinee Horning notched 16 kills apiece while
Gina Page added 10 kills and 12 digs.
Crystal Ronan distributed 35 assists. Mikecia Witherspoon paced Bryn Mawr with 14 kills.
Delaware Valley had little problems in the Lancaster Bible match as set scores were 25-18, 25-7 and 25-10. Gluch had 10 kills and just one error in 27 attacks while
Alyssa Riggins added six kills. Horning led the defensive charge with 18 digs and Ronan had 21 assists. Lauren Heliger led Lancaster Bible with eight kills.
