ROSEMONT (PA) – Rosemont College jumped out to a 3-1 lead and then had to hold on at the end for a 3-2 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

The Ravens (2-0) scored just 113 seconds into the game with a Rodney Aguirre tally. The Aggies (0-2) tied it less than five minutes later as Tom Masteron took a pass from Joey Ordile and notched his first goal of the season.

However, Rosemont scored 13 minutes into the first half as Aguirre struck again. The Ravens increased their lead early in the second half on a Luke McIvaine goal. Delaware Valley made it a one-goal contest with 32:10 remaining as Tyler Yankovich scored, but that was as close as the Aggies would come.

The two teams had 18 shots apiece. DJ Meisinger had eight saves in the loss.
