PHOENIXVILLE (PA) – The Delaware Valley College volleyball team tied a 26-year-old school record by downing host Valley Forge Christian College, 3-0, for its seventh consecutive win. Set scores were 25-3, 25-10 and 25-12.

It was all Aggies in the match as they improved their overall record to 12-3 and tied the mark for consecutive wins that was first set by the 1985 squad. Delaware Valley will look to break the record on Saturday, October 1 when it takes on Alvernia University in the first match of the Middle Atlantic Conference Crossover Tournament. The Aggies will also take on Albright College that day.

The Aggies recorded as many service aces (20) as it did kills against Valley Forge Christian (0-14). Crystal Ronan had eight of the aces while Sammy Alveras-Tarbell added six aces. Destinee Horning and Alyssa Riggins notched five kills apiece while Janel Gluch and Quinn Mitchell had three kills apiece.
