BUCKINGHAM (PA) – Senior Jeff Smith shot a six-over-par 78 at the Lookaway Golf Club to lead Delaware Valley College to a 338-359 victory over Eastern University in the final head-to-head match of the season at the Lookaway Golf Club

The Aggies finished the campaign with a 1-2 record. They will now prepare for the Freedom Conference Championships which will take place at the Hershey Country Club (Hershey, PA) on Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1.

Smith had the top round of the day and it was the second time in the last week that he shot under 80. He shot a 77 in a tri-match at the Berkshire Country Club on April 20. Teammate Jeremy Knepper finished Monday with a round of 82 while Eric Junkins and Nick Dolimpio completed the team scoring with rounds of 87 and 91 respectively.

The Eagles were led by Josh Reid's 84. Ben Dutchert and Ethan Herr shot an 88 and 92 respectively while Collin Whipples added a round of 92.
