MADISON (NJ) –Delaware Valley College had its school-record nine-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday evening as the Aggies dropped a 3-1, Freedom Conference decision at FDU-Florham. Set scores were 25-23, 25-15, 22-25, 25-20 in favor of the Devils.
Delaware Valley, which had broken a record that existed for 26 years, fell to 14-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play. FDU-Florham improved to 18-5 overall and 3-1 in the Freedom.
Janel Gluch paced the Aggies in the match with 20 kills.
Destinee Horning and
Gina Page had 10 kills apiece and the two also combined for 35 digs.
Alyssa Riggins added 16 digs while
Crystal Ronan had 41 assists and 11 digs.
Chelsea Hoefller, Momi Mariani and Helena Riede notched 13 kills apiece to lead the Devils. Nicole Weissert handed out 37 assists.
