DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Mitch Osterhouse scored with 12:01 remaining to lift Eastern University to a 1-0, Freedom Conference triumph over host Delaware Valley College.

The Eagles (8-4, 2-1 Freedom) entered the game as winners of four of their last five contests, including an 8-2 win over King's. Meanwhile, the Aggies (4-9, 0-3) were coming off a 3-0 home loss to King's.

However, score comparisons meant nothing on Tuesday as Delaware Valley remained tied with the Eagles late into the game. Eastern struck for the lone tally as Osterhouse took a pass from Braden Gross in the box and sent a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner of the net. It was Osterhouse's second goal of the year and the Eagle defense took care of the rest for the win.

Eastern held advantages of 17-4 in shots and 12-0 in corners. Jon Crowder stopped two shots for the shutout while Chris Shaffer was credited with six saves for the Aggies.
