WILKES-BARRE (PA) – It was a happy Homecoming for King's College as the Monarchs registered a 2-0, Freedom Conference triumph over Delaware Valley College.

King's upped its record to 9-4 overall and a perfect 2-0 in the conference while the Aggies fell to 5-6-1 and 0-2.

The Monarchs got all the scoring they would need with 14:57 left in the first half a Max Allegro put a rebound inside the left post. It remained that way until the closing seconds of the game when Joey Bender, who assisted on Allegro's tally, found the net to ice it.

King's held advantages of 21-5 in shots and 8-2 in corners. Brandon Raynor stopped three shots to earn the shutout while Delaware Valley's Tristan Preece was credited with eight saves at the other end.
