ST. DAVIDS (PA) – Eastern University's Braden Gross scored with 3:48 remaining in the first half and the Eagles made it stand for a 1-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.

Gross took a feed from Dan Shields and slid a shot from 12 yards out under Aggie goalkeeper DJ Meisinger. That was enough for Eastern as it improved to 9-4-1 overall and 4-1 in the Freedom. Delaware Valley slipped to 5-9-1 overall and 0-5 in league action.

Eastern held advantages of 18-10 in shots and 7-6 in corners. John Crowder had two saves for the Eagles while Meisinger turned aside five shots at the other end.
