DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Dan Pinto notched the lone tally of the game as Misericordia University pulled out a 1-0 victory over host Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.

After 53 scoreless minutes, the Cougars had a throw-in and Pinto scored his seventh goal of the year off the feed from Chris Hummel. That was it for the scoring as Misericordia improved to 9-6 overall and 2-2 in Freedom. The Aggies fell to 5-8-1 and 0-4.

The Cougars had advantages of 20-10 in shots and 12-3 in corners. Mason Astaneh had four saves for the shutout while D.J. Meisinger had five stops for Delaware Valley.
