PHOENIXVILLE (PA) – The Delaware Valley College volleyball team opened its 2009 season by posting a pair of 3-0 victories over Penn College of Technology and Valley Forge Christian College.
The Aggies opened the evening with scores of 25-16, 25-13 and 25-14 against Penn College of Technology.
Kelsey Fisher led the way with 11 kills without an error while
Kaitlyn Olsen added nine kills.
Ashley Mikulsky finished the match with five kills and 10 digs and
Jaki Blood dished out 13 assists.
Delaware Valley then had no problem with host Valley Forge Christian thanks to scores of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-4. Fisher and Olsen had seven and six kills respectively while
Amy Scordato handed out 26 assists.
