DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Ryan Rohrer found the net on two occasions in the second half to give Eastern University a 2-0 road victory over Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference match-up.
The two teams played a scoreless opening 45 minutes with the Eastern (6-7, 2-1 Freedom) holding a 7-6 advantage in shots. Rohrer then put the Eagles on the scoreboard 14:46 into the second stanza with an unassisted tally. The freshman then connected on an insurance goal off a feed from Kyle Hurst with just 7:06 remaining. Rohrer now has five goals on the season.
Eastern finished with a 14-13 advantage in shots while the Aggies (6-6-1, 0-3 Freedom) led 7-3 in corners. Jon Crowder was credited with five saves while picking up the shutout. D.J. Meisinger also made five stops at the other end.
