READING (PA) – Five Delaware Valley College players reached double figures in scoring, led by
James Jones' 26 points, as the Aggies posted a 96-68 victory over host Penn State Berks in a non-conference game.

Casey Stitzel, has now doubled its entire win total from last season as the Aggies are 6-10 on the current campaign with nine games still remaining on their schedule.
For the second game in a row, Delaware Valley used a big second half to pull away from an opponent. On Saturday, the Aggies were up by just four at the break before defeating Lancaster Bible College by 22. Monday evening saw a similar occurrence as they held a 43-35 halftime lead and then outscored Penn State Berks, 53-33, over the final 20 minutes.
Delaware Valley shot 56.8 percent from the field in the second half and finished the game just under 50 percent (49.4%). The squad hit 9 of 19 attempts from 3-point land and turned the ball over just nine times.
Jones was 10-16 from the field, including a 4-for-7 effort from beyond the arc. The sophomore guard went over the 20-point mark for the eighth time this season and he leads the Freedom Conference in scoring with an average of 20.2 points per game.
Mike Williams finished with a double-double as he scored 14 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds. Senior guard
Jason Seipt nearly had a triple-double as he notched 13 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
Chris Mayo poured in 14 points and
Jason Goldheimer came off the bench to add 12 points.
The Nittany Lions (3-13) were led by Jim Boyd's 18 points. Ryan Rooney and Mark Fowler added 14 and 13 points respectively in the loss.
