DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Freshman Kelsey Fisher had a career-high 13 kills to lead Delaware Valley College to a 3-0 victory over visiting Valley Forge Christian College in a non-conference match. Scores were 25-6, 25-8 and 25-17.
The victory was the third straight for the Aggies as they improved to 9-6 on the season. The Patriots fell to 3-10.
Twelve players saw time for Delaware Valley and each recorded at least one kill in the match. Fisher had her 13 kills and just five errors in 27 attempts while also adding six digs. Fellow rookie Erin Fox had five kills while senior Brittany Marconi and freshman Wendy Wakefield notched four kills apiece. Marconi added 16 assists while Wakefield had 10 kills. Ashley Majewski finished with three kills and seven digs in the victory.
