DELAWARE VALLEY FALLS TO IMMACULATA, 3-1

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Michael Moore scored two goals and Gio DeMartini had three assists to lead Immaculata University to a 3-1 victory over host Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

The win put the Mighty Macs backs at the .500 mark as they are now 3-3-2. The Aggies fell to 1-4-1.

Delaware Valley took a 1-0 advantage just 10:56 into the contest as Eric Maciag took a feed from Matt Weiler and deposited his second goal of the season. However, Moore tied things up just 1:50 later and it remained a 1-1 contest into the intermission.

Immaculata took the lead for good with 22:52 remaining as DeMartini set up Blake Cain for his second goal of the season. Moore then gave his team some breathing room with 11:11 to go as he headed in a cross from DeMartini.

The Mighty Macs held a 17-9 advantage in shots. Zach Oas notched four saves in the victory while Tristan Preece and Steve Richtmyer combined for six saves for the Aggies
