DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College moved its record to 1-1-1 as the Aggies and visiting Gwynedd-Mercy College played to a 1-1, double-overtime standstill.

Delaware Valley hit the scoreboard midway through the first half as 2007 all-Freedom Conference honoree Eric Maciag tallied his first goal of the season. Matt Weiler was credited with the assist.

It remained a 1-0 contest until there was 26:02 left in regulation when Matthew Meier scored an unassisted tally, the first for the Griffins (0-3-1) this season.

Gwynedd-Mercy held a 22-12 advantage in shots while the Aggies had an 8-5 edge in corners. Tristan Preece was outstanding in net for Delaware Valley as he stopped 16 shots. Sean Meehan had six saves at the other end.
