WILKES-BARRE (PA) – Wilkes University received goals from three different players as the Colonels blanked visiting Delaware Valley College, 3-0, in a Freedom Conference game.

Greg Miller opened the scoring for the Colonels (6-5, 2-0) just 9:25 into the contest as he took a pass from Doug Moore and beat Aggie goalkeeper Tristan Preece. It remained a 1-0 game through the intermission until Arthur Jankowski scored 7:32 into the second stanza. Ryan Phillips made it 3-0 10 minutes later off an assist from Bret Oswald.

Wilkes held a 19-4 advantage in shots and a 6-5 edge in corners. Preece had three saves in 70-plus minutes while Steve Richtmyer had two stops in the final 19 for Delaware Valley (3-6-1, 1-1). TJ Baloga and Kaleb Smith combined for two saves and the shutout.
