Johnson comes to DelVal as an assistant directors of athletics intern on an NCAA grant. She also joins the Aggie volleyball coaching staff.
Johnson played Division I volleyball at Coppin State University (Baltimore, Maryland) from 2009 to 2011. She also coached high school and club volleyball in the Baltimore area from 2010 to 2012.
Johnson went back home to Memphis, Tennessee and became the head volleyball coach of KIPP Academy Charter School, the first volleyball team in school history. She also coached at Memphis Juniors Volleyball Association and Briarcrest Christian High School. Briarcrest Christian won the Tennessee Division II Class AA state championship in 2016 and was the state runner-up a year earlier.
Johnson received her bacehlor of scrience degree in sport management from Coppin State in 2012. She then earned her Master's degree in sport commerce from the University of Memphis in 2016.
