2025 marks Iorfino's seventh season on the sidelines as head coach and second as an Aggie.

In 2024, Iorfino boosted the Aggies to a 5-11 record, there best since 2019 when the club when 5-8. The 2024 squad broke the DelVal groundball record, picking up 374 with Ashley Birmingham grabbing 65 for an individual season record. Kyra McKeegan overtook her sister Amanda '21 as the new Delaware Valley all-time leading scorer with 47 goals, 95 assists, for 142 points.

Kate stepped down after guiding the Widener University Pride for six seasons last September. In those six seasons, Iorfino led the Pride to three MAC Commonwealth tournament appearances and two MACC semifinal appearances in 2019 and 2021. She was also named MACC coach of the year in 2019 after leading Widener to their first playoff berth in five seasons and their first playoff victory since 1984.

Iorfino coached 14 All-Conference athletes, including the 2019 MACC Offensive Player of the Year and 2022 MACC Defensive Player of the Year. The two players were later named IWLCA All-Region selections.

Prior to Widener, Kate spent two seasons as an assistant coach with nationally ranked Franklin & Marshall. Before F&M, she served as an assistant coach at the University of Scranton for three seasons following four years as a standout player with the Royals. She holds the school record for caused turnovers (123), scoring 100 points on 84 goals and 16 assists. Iorfino ranks fourth at Scranton in ground balls (195) and sixth in draw controls (130).
