Cole Hayden joins the DelVal staff for his first season and brings a plethora of coaching experience to the team.
Hayden began his coaching career in 2003 as the varsity assistant at Abington High School and held that position through the 2018Â season. During his time with the Galloping Ghosts, Hayden helped guide the team to the 2012 District One championship and to a District One runner-up in 2008 and 2018. He coached two conference players of the year, two all-state players and two All-Americans.Â
He spent one season in 2019 as the head boys soccer coach at Montgomery School in Chester Springs, PA and is currently the head coach of FC Providence Xtreme and has held that post since 2019.Â
Hayden attended Baker University in Baldwin City, KS where he was a two year member of the soccer team from 1995-1997. He then attended West Chester University from 2015-2018 and earned his Bachelors Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness.Â
Hayden currently lives in Pottstown, PA with his wife Beth and is a health, safety and wellness teacher at Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School in West Chester.Â
