Now entering his third year on the Delaware Valley men’s basketball coaching staff, Dekmar has a number of responsibilities including co-recruiting and film exchange coordinator, opponent preparation and day-to-day operations. He has a championship ring thanks to the Aggies’ run to the Freedom Conference championship and NCAA berth in 2013.
Dekmar was a four-year letterwinner at Division III University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He served as a team captain as a senior and helped the squad to four Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference playoffs berths, two appearances in the AMCC Championship Game and two ECAC postseason appearances.
Dekmar, who has worked with the Hoop Group at Elite Camps and JamFest for five years, graduated from Pitt-Bradford in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in sports and recreation management. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in business administration at Delaware Valley.
