A veteran presence on the bench, Fergus is entering his second season with Delaware Valley and his 38th overall in the sport. His responsibilities with the Aggies include practice and game preparation as well as in-game management.
Fergus has coached for 32 years on the high school level and five on the collegiate level. He notched 489 high school wins including over 100 triumphs at three different high schools: Robert E. Lee High School (Texas), State College High School and nearby North Penn High School (where he is still a health and physical education teacher. He was named to the PA Hoops Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame.
Fergus was also a former Division I assistant coach at Houston Baptist University.
