Potash joined the coaching staff prior to the 2017-2018 season. He spent his last two years at Bryn Athyn College and brings 20 years of coaching experience with him. Â
From 2010-2015 he served as head coach at Penn State Abington where he led that program to two consecutive conference final fours and three straight playoff appearances including an ECAC postseason bid. His teams led the conference in points per game during three seasons. He coached four 1,000 point scorers, three scoring leaders, conference player of the year, conference rookie of the year, conference assist and rebound leader.Â
In 2003 and 2005, Potash was named Coach of the Year as head coac at the Peddie School. The 2005 version of that team was a Mid-Atlantic Prep League and NJISAA state finalist. Potash also served as head coach at Robbinsville High School and assistant coach for the York Cyclones of the EBA, the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Drew University and Princeton Day School.
Potash earned a master's degree in educational leadership. He has obtained certifications in supervisor, principal and teaching from The College of New Jersey and completed his undergrauate degree at York College of Pennsylvania. He played collegiate basketball at York College and Mercer County Community College after playing high school ball at Notre Dame High School.Â
Along with his coaching experience he brings extensive event management, operations, recruiting, scheduling, scouting, site supervision, staffing and teaching experience.Â
