Bongiovanni then went on to serve for a number of high school coaching legends including Mike Pettine at Central Bucks West, Chuck Rocconi at Archbishop Wood, Larry Greene at Central Bucks East and Jim Ditulio at New Hope-Solebury. He was also the defensive coordinator at New Hope-Solebury.
Bongiovanni graduated from Widener in 1984 with a bachelor of arts degree in math education. Thirty years later, he earned a master's degree in education from Gratz College. He has worked as a math teacher at New Hope-Solebury High School since 1984.
