Barainyak is in the third year of his second stint with his alma mater. He work with the tight ends produced a two-time all-confeence honoree in Max Stella.
Barainyak transferred to Delaware Valley prior to the 2007 campaign and the tight end caught one pass, a 25-yard touchdown against King’s. He then suffered a serious injury during training camp the following year.
Barainyak served as a student assistant in 2009 and then moved up to tight ends coach for both 2010 and 2011 as the Aggies won the MAC crown each season.
Barainyak then spent the 2012 season on Andy Talley’s staff at Villanova University. The Wildcats went 8-4 and reached the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) playoffs.
Barainyak completed his bachelor of science degree in sports management in 2010.
