2022 is Wilson's 10th year on the DelVal coaching staff. He has been the team's strength and conditioning coach the entire time during his tenureĀ and also has worked with the defense since 2014.
Coach Wilson is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also Certified through USA Weightlifting, CPR and AED certified through the American Red Cross and is FMS Level 1 certified through the Functional Movement Systems.
In the offseason, Wilson trains a number of professional athletes including current NFL player C.J. Wilson.

Wilson began his coaching career with a three-year stint as the defensive back/assistant strength and conditioning coach at Dana College in Nebraska. In 2009, he was the defensive line/outside linebackers and assistant strength and conditioning coach at Louisburg College in North Carolina.

In 2010, Wilson served as a strength and conditioning coach at East Carolina University before spending the last two seasons at West Virginia Wesleyan College as a linebacker/head strength and conditioning coach.

Wilson was a junior college All-American and moved on to The University of New Mexico, where he graduated in 2003 with a bachelor of science degree in criminology. He played in the American Indoor Football League and was a two-time all-star.
