CARLISLE, Pa. – Gustavo Mora highlighted the day for the Delaware Valley University men's and women's cross country teams at the Dickinson Long-Short Run on Saturday, setting a new program record in the men's 4K.
Mora crossed the finish line in 13:20.2 to place 35th overall, shaving 12 seconds off the previous DelVal record. Jack Bisginano followed in 96th with a time of 15:35.2, while
Shane Ocampo finished 107th in 17:36.1 and
William Hale rounded out the Aggies' 4K competitors in 113th at 19:11.8.
Isaac Boyer represented DelVal in the men's 8K, placing 55th overall after completing the course in 31:29.3.
On the women's side, Kyanna Krall led a group of five Aggies in the 6K, finishing 39th with a time of 24:54.1.
Emma East followed closely behind in 45th at 25:18.7, while
Lindsay Taylor crossed the line in 50th with a time of 25:35.3.
Kamella Gechter placed 62nd in 27:11.5, and
Arianna Askew completed the 6K in 28:01.1 to finish 65th.
Mariah Shatley paced DelVal in the women's 4K, earning the Aggies' highest individual finish of the day with a 25th-place showing in 16:42.0.
Emma Haas followed in 40th with a time of 17:51.1, while
Ayla Hashway placed 44th in 18:14.6.
Alannah Perkins crossed the line in 55th at 19:55.3, and
Elizabeth Paul rounded out the DelVal contingent with a 62nd-place finish in 24:38.7.
The Aggies return to action on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Paul short Invitational.
