DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Delaware Valley University Athletics has announced the hiring of Elizabeth Flower as an assistant athletic trainer.
Flower joins the Aggies after earning both her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training Studies and master's degree in Athletic Training from Rowan University. During her graduate studies, she gained extensive clinical experience working with a variety of sports at the collegiate and high school levels.
"I am sincerely grateful to begin my athletic training career at Delaware Valley University," said Flower. "I look forward to collaborating closely with our dedicated athletics staff and supporting the diverse community of student-athletes across all sports."
Flower most recently completed a clinical rotation at Vineland High School, where she provided injury evaluations, therapeutic interventions, taping and bracing, and return-to-play care for wrestling, basketball, crew, baseball, softball, lacrosse, and track and field athletes. She also educated student-athletes on nutrition and hydration while communicating with parents regarding injury care and recovery.
She also gained collegiate experience working with the football and women's basketball programs at Princeton University, assisting with injury management, rehabilitation programs, return-to-play protocols, and collaboration with physicians and strength and conditioning staff. Additional clinical experience included working with the softball, women's basketball, and volleyball programs at Rowan University.
Outside of her clinical rotations, Flower worked as a physical therapy aide at JAG Physical Therapy, assisting therapists with patient care, therapeutic exercises, and clinic operations.
Flower earned her master's degree in Athletic Training in 2026 after completing her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training Studies with a minor in Nutrition in 2025. While at Rowan, she also completed a graduate research project examining the efficiency and accuracy of athletic training students diagnosing cardiac arrest through pulse and breathing assessments.
