DelVal Athletics Announces 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Class

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Delaware Valley University Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is proud to announce the induction class of 2026. Four former standout student-athletes will be honored during an induction ceremony on campus on Friday, September 18, 2026.

The class includes Eirean Anastasi '16 (Women's Basketball), Hollis Hancock '12 (Field Hockey), Marc Reason '90 (Men's Track & Field), and Kyle Schuberth '14 (Football).
The event will take place in the Life Sciences Building with a cocktail hour reception beginning at 6 p.m., followed by the induction ceremony in the auditorium at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public, but all attendees must register in advance and purchase tickets. Purchase Tickets Here

Eireann (Anastasi) Pizzico '16 – Women's Basketball

One of the greatest players in program history, Anastasi finished her career second all-time at Delaware Valley in both scoring (1,744 points) and assists (424). She capped her senior season by being named the 2015-16 MAC Freedom Player of the Year while earning first-team all-conference honors.

Anastasi garnered national recognition during her historic senior campaign, earning D3hoops.com Atlantic Region Co-Player of the Year, first-team all-region, D3hoops.com Third-Team All-America, DIII News Fourth-Team All-America, and WBCA All-America honorable mention accolades. She was also named the MAC Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete and earned Academic All-MAC honors in 2015-16 while becoming a finalist for the prestigious Jostens Trophy.

Her decorated career also included Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year honors in 2012-13, multiple all-conference selections, regional accolades, and Academic All-Area recognition from the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Hollis (Hancock) Armstead '12 – Field Hockey

Hancock established herself as one of the premier goalkeepers in Delaware Valley field hockey history during her four-year career from 2008-11. A 2011 team captain, she finished her career second all-time in program history in both saves (573) and shutouts (12).

Hancock still holds the school's single-season records for saves (243) and shutouts (5). She was named a 2010 MAC Freedom First-Team All-Star and earned second-team honors twice in 2009 and 2011.

In 2011, Hancock was selected to participate in the NFHCA Division III Senior Game and helped lead the Aggies to MAC Freedom playoff appearances in 2009 and 2010.

Marc Reason '90 – Men's Track & Field

Reason was one of the most accomplished sprinters in Delaware Valley men's track & field history and spent more than 35 years as the school-record holder in the 400-meter dash after posting a time of 47.69 seconds in 1988.

A 1988 NCAA Division III All-American in the 400 meters, Reason excelled throughout his MAC Championship career. He captured the 1989 MAC Outdoor Championship in the 400-meter dash while also placing sixth in the 200 meters. He added runner-up finishes in the 400 meters in both 1988 and 1990, while also placing second in the 200 meters and third in the 400 meters at the 1987 MAC Outdoor Championships.

Beyond his individual success, Reason served as the anchor leg of Delaware Valley's MAC Champion 4x100-meter relay teams in both 1989 and 1990, helping lead the Aggies to back-to-back conference titles in the event.

In addition to his accomplishments on the track, Reason was a standout member of the Delaware Valley men's basketball team. During the 1988-89 season, he shot .592 from the field, a mark that still ranks sixth in program history for single-season field goal percentage.

Kyle Schuberth '14 – Football

Schuberth ranks among the most accomplished running backs in Delaware Valley football history. A four-year contributor and 2013 team captain, he finished his career second all-time in rushing yards (3,764), rushing touchdowns (45), and total touchdowns (46).

His name is also scattered throughout the Aggie record book in single-season and single-game categories, including the second-best single-season rushing total in program history with 1,336 yards and the second-most touchdowns in a season with 16.

Schuberth earned first-team all-MAC honors in both 2012 and 2013 after receiving second-team recognition in 2012. He was also named to the D3football.com All-Region Third Team twice during his career.

A key piece of one of the most successful stretches in program history, Schuberth helped lead the Aggies to MAC Championships and NCAA Tournament second-round appearances in 2010 and 2011, along with an ECAC Championship in 2012.
