Men's Lacrosse Drops Road Conference Matchup at LVC

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Delaware Valley fell on the road in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday afternoon, dropping a 23-2 decision to Lebanon Valley.

The Flying Dutchmen jumped out quickly, scoring just 48 seconds into the game and building a large advantage throughout the opening half. Lebanon Valley extended its lead to 16-0 through the first two quarters. The Aggies had two man-up opportunities in the first quarter and recorded four shots on goal in the second, but were unable to find the back of the net.

Delaware Valley broke the shutout in the third quarter. Peter DelRossi scored his fourth goal of the season off an assist from Danil Didden with the Aggies trailing by 18.

The Aggies added their second tally just 32 seconds into the fourth quarter after forcing a turnover, leading to Kieran Schneider's team-leading 27th goal of the season.

Goalkeeper Daniel Hickling remained busy in net, finishing with 20 saves. Both teams were held scoreless on their man-up opportunities.

With the loss, the Aggies fall to 1-9 overall and 0-2 in MAC Freedom play. Delaware Valley returns home on Saturday, April 11 to host Misericordia at 3:00 p.m.
