BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Trent Parkhurst led Delaware Valley golf to a first-place finish at the Abington Spring Invitational on Monday.
Five teams and 25 golfers competed at Philmont Country Club, a par-70 course playing 6,596 yards.
The Aggies posted a team score of 342 to take the top spot, finishing ahead of PSU-Abington and Elizabethtown, who tied for second at 345. FDU-Florham placed fourth with a 346, followed by PSU-Brandywine at 355.
PSU-Brandywine's Cavanaugh earned medalist honors with a round of 77 (+7), followed by teammate Angle at 81 (+11).
Parkhurst tied for third, leading Delaware Valley with an 82 (+12). He highlighted his round with birdies on the par-three eighth and par-five 12th holes, and posted a team-best 37 on the front nine.
Jack Brennan finished ninth with an 85 (+15), followed by Mason Henne's 87 (+17).
Daniel McColgan rounded out the team scoring with an 88 (+18), recording a birdie on the eighth hole.
Patrick Taylor also competed, finishing 18th with a 91.
Delaware Valley wraps up the 2025-26 season this weekend at the MAC Freedom Championship, held April 25-26 at Indian Valley Country Club.
