CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Delaware Valley women's basketball team dropped its second meeting of the season with DeSales, falling 73-48 to the Bulldogs on the road.

The Aggies matched DeSales early, trading baskets through the opening five minutes as the game was tied at six. DelVal briefly grabbed the lead on a three-pointer from Alexis Lease-Springer, but the Bulldogs closed the quarter on a 6-2 spurt to carry a 17-15 edge into the second.

DelVal regained momentum early in the second quarter with a 6-3 run fueled by Ciana Feliciano and Emma Miller to reclaim a one-point lead. DeSales answered with a decisive 14-1 run to build an 11-point cushion. Aubrey Ennis knocked down a jumper to cut the deficit to single digits, but the Bulldogs closed the half on an 8-2 run, sending the Aggies into the locker room trailing 42-27.

Whitney Evans and Miller combined for six points in the opening four minutes of the third to trim the deficit to 11, but DeSales responded with nine straight points to push the lead to 20. Julianna Harris ended the run with a jumper, and Alexis Wright added a personal 3-0 spurt, but a last-second tip-in by the Bulldogs made it 57-38 heading into the fourth.

DeSales extended the margin to as many as 25 in the final period. Evans provided a spark with four points during an 8-3 Aggies run to cut the deficit to 20, but the Bulldogs closed on a 5-0 run to seal the 73-48 decision.
