Alexis (Maylor) Balliet '14 | Track and Field

Balliet was a decorated student-athlete for Delaware Valley University in indoor and outdoor track & field from 2012–2014. A three-year contributor and two-time team captain, she was a dominant force in the pentathlon and heptathlon, earning MAC Field Athlete of the Year honors twice, qualifying for two NCAA Championships, and winning six MAC titles across both seasons.

Balliet is the DelVal and MAC record holder in the heptathlon (4,500 points) and also holds school records in the indoor long jump (5.33m) and outdoor long jump (5.68m). She was a consistent presence at the ECAC and NCAA levels and competed at the prestigious Penn Relays in 2013.

Off the track, she excelled academically as a two-time Academic All-Conference honoree, three-time MAC Academic Honor Roll recipient for both winter and spring, and the 2014 DelVal Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Aaron Karns '15 | Men's Wrestling

Karns was a four-year contributor and two-year team captain for the Aggies men's wrestling team from 2011 to 2015. He is one of just five wrestlers in DelVal history to earn NCAA All-American honors three times, finishing fourth in the nation in both 2014 and 2015, and sixth in 2013. He qualified for the NCAA Championships in all four seasons, beginning as a freshman in 2011.

During his standout career, Karns was a three-time NCAA East Regional Champion and a two-time MAC Champion. He helped lead the Aggies to four NCAA Top-30 finishes, including the 2015 MAC and NCAA East Regional Championship titles, and the 2013 East Regional runner-up finish.

Karns ended his career with 117 victories, which ranks third all-time in DelVal wrestling history.

John Lavelle Jr. '13 | Football

Lavelle was a four-year contributor on the offensive line from 2009 to 2012 and made an immediate impact, earning MAC Rookie of the Year honors in 2009. He went on to become a three-time All-MAC First Team selection and earned All-America recognition in each of his final two seasons, including BSN First Team honors in 2012 and D3football.com Third Team honors in both 2011 and 2012.

A two-time D3football.com First Team All-Region and ECAC First Team All-Star, Lavelle was a driving force behind one of the most successful stretches in DelVal football history. He helped lead the Aggies to three consecutive MAC Championships and three straight NCAA Second Round appearances from 2009 to 2011, and finished his career as part of the 2012 ECAC South Atlantic Bowl Championship team.

Emily Soper '14 | Women's Basketball

Soper was a consistent force in the paint for the Aggies from 2009–2013, earning MAC-Freedom honors in all four seasons, including Rookie of the Year in 2010, Second Team in 2011, First Team in 2012, and Honorable Mention in 2013. She served as team captain during her senior season and helped lead DelVal to a MAC-Freedom playoff appearance as a freshman.

By the end of her career, Soper was the program's all-time leader in blocks with 239, including a single-season record of 84. She ranks second in field goal percentage (.484), third in total rebounds (881), and tenth in scoring (1,333 points), making her one of the most well-rounded players in DelVal history.
