Bradford’s Six Threes Power Men's Basketball Past Immaculata

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Delaware Valley men's basketball held Immaculata to just 57 points on Tuesday afternoon as Brendon Bradford went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to lead the Aggies to an 82-57 victory and their sixth win of the season.

Antonio Redding opened the scoring for DelVal, but the Mighty Macs jumped out to a 6-2 lead in the opening three minutes. A three-minute scoreless stretch was snapped by a Jeremiah Lee three-pointer, and a pair of free throws from Mike Herrin followed by a dunk from Brian Mordi put the Aggies ahead by five. Immaculata responded with back-to-back threes after a media timeout, but Redding answered in the paint to regain the lead.

Bradford knocked down his first three of the afternoon before another Mordi dunk and points from Kamal Johnson, Redding, and Herrin extended the Aggies' lead to 28-15 with 5:53 remaining in the half. Johnson and Herrin connected on consecutive three-pointers, both assisted by Lee, as the teams traded baskets down the stretch. DelVal carried an 18-point advantage into halftime.

Bradford opened the second half with a three-pointer, assisted by Redding, before Herrin and Seapoe exchanged layups. After pulling down a rebound, Herrin found Bradford again from deep to make it 46-22. Lee added a layup in transition off a feed from Johnson, and Jeremiah Alexander finished a fastbreak opportunity shortly after.

Bradford continued to pace the Aggies from long range, regaining momentum following a brief Immaculata run. Around the midway point of the half, Redding responded to baskets from Williams to keep DelVal's lead at 20. At the 8:18 mark, the Aggies strung together quick buckets from JT Wright and Redding, two coming off steals by Jake McGinty. The largest lead of the game, 28 points, came when Herrin assisted Wright on another three-pointer.

Immaculata outscored DelVal in the final two minutes but could only close the gap to 25 as the Aggies secured the 82-57 win.

With the victory, Delaware Valley improves to 6-5 overall. The Aggies will open conference play on the road at Arcadia University on Wednesday, Jan. 7, with tipoff set for 7:00 p.m.
