DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Delaware Valley freshman wide receiver and return specialist Joel Perez was named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Special Teams Player of the Week and also earned a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week following his standout performance against Stevenson.
Perez electrified the return game with two kickoff return touchdowns in the Aggies' 41-38 Homecoming win. He opened the game by taking the kickoff 95 yards to the end zone and later added a 96-yard return in the third quarter, sparking a comeback after the Aggies trailed 31-14. Perez totaled 215 yards on three returns and added three catches for 89 yards and a touchdown.
