Football Earns 41-14 Road Win Over FDU-Florham

Madison, N.J.- The Delaware Valley University football team picked up a 41-14 conference victory on the road at FDU-Florham.

The Aggies struck first in the opening quarter after Jovan Tyrell forced and recovered a fumble at the goal line to stop the Devils' opening drive. On the following series, Mike Galasso connected with Alvaro Lora for an 84-yard touchdown. A few minutes later, Micah Bootman recovered another fumble to set up a short field, and Galasso found Lora again for a nine-yard score to make it 14-0.

In the second quarter, Owen Suah intercepted a pass near the end zone, and Justin Brown capped up the ensuing drive with a two-yard rushing touchdown. Galasso and Lora connected once more for a 38-yard score before halftime to give Delval a 28-0 lead at the break.

The Aggies extended their lead in the third quarter when Galasso hit Alex Rufe for a 57-yard touchdown, followed by a 70-yard punt return touchdown from Joel Perez. FDU-Florham added two late scores, but Delval controlled the game throughout to secure the conference win.
