MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – After entering the 2024 season as a preseason third-team All-American, Jacquez Mabin earned a spot on the D3football.com All-American second-team defense.
Mabin, a senior from Philadelphia, finished his season with 78 total tackles, including 23.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, and six forced fumbles, helping the Aggies finish with an 8-3 record. He will become the 28th Aggie to be named an All-American in program history. This marks the fourth time in five full seasons that a Delaware Valley defensive end has been named Region 1 (or East Region) Defensive Player of the Year.
Senior safety Zach Barber was the only other Middle Atlantic Conference player to be named an All-American this season.
This marks the 26th year D3football.com has named an All-America team. The 2024 D3football.com Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year will be announced following the Stagg Bowl.
