Haley Keenan put up 11 of her 29 points through the first nine minutes of the final quarter to help the Aggies mount a comeback and take the lead over FDU-Florham. The Devils ultimately prevailed in the final minutes defeating the Aggies by a narrow five-point margin, 77-72, on Wednesday night.

DelVal falls to 2-12 on the season and 0-3 in MAC Freedom play while FDU-Florham improves to 4-10 overall and 1-2 in conference action.

Jayla Rivera collected her own miss and sunk the second chance to put up the first points for the Aggies. Keenan evened the score twice before
Alexis Wright sunk the long ball to give DelVal its first lead of the game, 9-8. The lead changed three more times landing in the hands of the Devils who used a 14-4 run to take a nine-point lead over the Aggies at the end of the first quarter, 24-15.

The Devils held DelVal to just nine points in the second quarter with the Aggies shooting 18.8% from the field and 75% from the charity stripe. DelVal's defense kept FDU-Florham to just 13 points in the frame keeping the Devils within reach entering the break, 37-24.

The Aggies came out refreshed in the third quarter nearly matching the Devils point for point.
Aubrey Ennis kicked things off with a six-point solo run to cut the deficit down to just seven, 37-30. The Devils crawled back to a double-digit lead using a 5-1 run in the final 1:20 to create a 14-point deficit heading into the final 10 minutes of the game, 54-40.

Wright and Rivera began to chip away at the deficit with the 7-6 edge over the Devils through the first 1:17. Nearly a minute later Keenan converted the three to begin a 22-9 run over the next 6:16 making it a one bucket game for the first time since the first quarter, 71-69.
Ava Irizarry stepped up nearly 30 seconds later with the three to put DelVal in a single-point lead, 72-71. FDU-Florham responded with a three-pointer of its own to finish out the game on a 6-0 run for the win, 77-72. Â

Keenan ended the night with a double-double recording 29 points and 10 rebounds. Wright and Rivera also finished the contest with double-digit scoring recording 18 and 13 points, respectively.

DelVal returns to action this Saturday, Jan. 18 when they host Arcadia at James Work Gymnasium for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
