Men's Lacrosse Celebrate Seniors in Season Finale

Doylestown, Pa. – Delaware Valley men's lacrosse celebrated their seniors Ryley Savering, Luke Kelchner, Jim Murphy, and Frederick Offenburger taking on King's College on Saturday afternoon.

The Aggies started hot netting the first three goals, the first coming from George Evanick just 36 seconds into the game. The second came on a man-up chance, Savering finding the back of the net, assisted by Marren. 11 seconds later on the same man-up opportunity, Jack Sprinkle found Savering for his second tally. At the halfway mark of the first quarter the King's got on the scoreboard, but the Aggies rallied and Sprinkle scored a goal of his own with just 11 seconds remaining.

The Monarchs scored twice in the opening five minutes of quarter two, still down 4-3. At 8:37, Sprinkle scored his second of the afternoon while a man-up, Marren picking up another assist. King's cashed in three times before half, taking a 6-5 lead into the break.

After another Monarchs tally in the third, Marren scored his first of the afternoon before King's struck twice more in the third quarter. the Monarch's eighth goal came a man-down which ultimately was the deciding factor.

The final Aggies goal of the game and the 2024 season came off the stick of Marren with over 11 minutes to go in the fourth but the Monarchs notched two more to take a 12-7 victory.

The Delaware Valley men's lacrosse team ends the season with a 5-12 overall record and 1-6 in the conference.
